MCCI promotes Mongolia's foreign economic and trade relations.
The Chamber offers several
services for its member firms and foreign companies:

Provides information on Mongolian trade and economic conditions
and opportunities.

Organizes trade exhibitions in Mongolia.

Promotes Mongolian participation in international trade fairs.

Receives delegations of foreign businessmen.

Organizes delegations of Mongolian businessmen going abroad.

Advertises foreign products in Mongolia and Mongolian products
abroad.

Issues Certificates of Origin for goods made in Mongolia for export.

Provides arbitration services for business disputes.
The MCCI is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry
and of the Asian Trade Promotion Organizations Forum. It also has connections
with ITC, ETRO/Japan, CBI/Holland, PRODEC/Finland, London Chamber of Commerce,
Thailand Board of Trade, Singapore Chamber of Commerce and others. The
Chamber publishes information, mainly for its member companies, through
its Mongolian language monthly the Business Times newspaper.

FIFTA is the principal government agency promoting and assisting foreign
direct investment into Mongolia. FIFTA coordinates assistance to investors
by providing a local network facility. FIFTA helps them comply with all
registration procedures required of enterprises. FIFTA directly links
firms with local tax, labor, customs and social security officials. It
helps get work permits, visas, and other legal formalities.
